Jason's Advice/Mindset/The Four Personality Types That Can Explode Your Network Marketing Business (Once You Learn to Work With Them!)

The Four Personality Types

Have you ever spoken to someone and felt like your words just weren’t landing?

It’s probably not your product. It’s probably not even your presentation.

Chances are... it’s your communication style clashing with their personality type.

In the world of network marketing, especially in the wellness space, understanding people is everything. It’s the bridge between rejection and results, between confusion and conversion.

Let’s break it down. There are four key personality types that you’ll come across not just in business, but in life. And trust me, you need all four in your team if you’re serious about building a strong, sustainable, and successful network.

💎 1. The Sapphire: The Life and Soul of the Party

Sapphires are all about fun, energy, and people.

They walk into the room and instantly light it up. They don’t care about spreadsheets or systems, they just want to enjoy the moment and make sure everyone else is too.

Strengths: Great at attracting people, bringing life to events, and creating community.
🚫 Challenges: Struggle with structure, deadlines, and follow-through.

If you try to bog a Sapphire down with rules and systems, you’ll lose them. But if you let them shine in the spotlight, they’ll naturally draw others in.

How to communicate with a Sapphire: Keep it light, fun, and visual. Don’t overwhelm them with details, paint a picture of the lifestyle, the excitement, the people.

🤍 2. The Pearl: The Heart of the Team

Pearls are the nurturers. They love to serve, to care, and to support.

They’re deeply loyal and value harmony and purpose over profit. They’re often the ones behind the scenes making sure everyone is OK, often without even being asked.

Strengths: Strong team players, loyal, servant-hearted, and mission-driven.
🚫 Challenges: Resistant to change, afraid of conflict, often struggle to make quick decisions.

Pearls need to know that what they’re doing is making a difference. Lead with impact over income and show them how they’re helping others.

How to communicate with a Pearl: Talk about transformation, community, and serving others. Avoid aggressive language and hard-sell tactics.

💚 3. The Emerald: The Analytical Perfectionist

Emeralds live for details, data, and doing it right.

They’re the planners, the organizers, and the ones who spot a missing full stop on slide 17 of your presentation. Integrity is everything to them and so is punctuality!

Strengths: Extremely reliable, systems-focused, and trustworthy.
🚫 Challenges: Struggle to have fun, overthink decisions, often fear making mistakes.

Emeralds can build rock-solid systems within your business, and when they commit, they commit properly. But if your pitch has holes in it, they’ll see it before you do.

How to communicate with an Emerald: Be precise. Show them the numbers, the science, the track record. Let them analyse the opportunity at their own pace.

❤️‍🔥 4. The Ruby: The Relentless Go-Getter

Rubies are driven, bold, and ultra-competitive.

They don’t just want to win, they need to win. They thrive on recognition, achievement, and the next big goal. Number 2? That’s just the first loser in their book!

Strengths: Natural leaders, highly productive, focused, and goal-oriented.
🚫 Challenges: Can be arrogant, hard to mentor, and spread too thin from multitasking.

Rubies bring massive energy to your team, but they need to feel like they’re in charge of their journey. They’re coachable, but only if they respect you.

How to communicate with a Ruby: Be direct, challenge them, show them how big they can win and make sure the reward is worth it!

Why You Need All Four in Your Network Marketing Team

Imagine this:

Your Sapphire brings the energy and excitement to attract new people.

Your Pearl creates the heart-centred culture that keeps people grounded and loyal.

Your Emerald sets up the back-office structure so things run smoothly.

Your Ruby drives momentum and pushes performance through the roof.

When you understand the value each personality brings to the table, you stop trying to make everyone be like you. And instead, you create a business culture that works for everyone.

That’s when duplication becomes natural. That’s when your team starts to grow with flow, not friction.

Here’s the Real Challenge for You, Reader…

Are you willing to grow your people skills?

Because if you’re not prepared to adjust your approach based on who’s in front of you, you’ll constantly struggle to get people to respond, commit, or take action.

Understanding personalities isn’t soft skill fluff. It’s a business-building superpower.
